My name is Rich Dolan.

I am an active duty U.S. Army officer in the process of transitioning from six years of service back to civilian life. Ironically, this mission has been my hardest yet during my time in service. On my path to completing a graduate degree in journalism at Hofstra University, I chose to do a photojournalism independent study to examine the process of transitioning from the military and the challenges associated with it.
